Kit Fee: $20 US students ($25 international students) required kit includes a fat quarter size piece of silk broadcloth that is pretreated and ready for painting + shipping included. Please email Juanita to order by June 1st. Credit card and check payments accepted. 

Kit fees are paid directly to the instructor. They are separate from the class registration fee. 

Description

This is a two-part class. In the first session, we will paint. A PDF of the flower you will use will be provided. As a lead up to the painting, Juanita will discuss the technique and products to be used and demonstrations on how to control the watercolor pigments/tube paints. The second session will address how to quilt the flower for dimension and texture, how to free motion thread paint to add detail, and how to quilt to add interest to the background.
