Cancellation of VQF 2020

With heavy hearts, we must announce the cancellation of the 2020 in-person Vermont Quilt Festival due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

This unprecedented time carries so many unknowns about the future. However, we are certain that the safety and health of our attendees, contestants, volunteers, instructors, vendors, and community are most important.

Over the last 43 years, we at VQF have had the incredible privilege to organize an environment where people from across the world come together to learn, grow, create, and become inspired to express themselves through the spectacular art of quilting. Thank you for being a part of this journey with us and for sustaining VQF as New England’s Oldest and Largest Quit Festival! Your enthusiasm makes us confident that we will, as a community, get through this and be stronger together.

This is an uncertain time for all of us, but your contributions are gratefully appreciated. We hope to come back in 2021 stronger than ever, but we need your help.  If you are able to donate, in any amount, it will directly support VQF 2021. 

VQF holds a special place in our hearts, and we will do everything we can to continue sharing the wonderful world of quilting with our community.
