SewBatik Wall Quilt Challenge 2013
BLUE RIBBON PAVILION
The seasons of Vermont have been described as nine months of winter and three of poor sledding. When summer finally arrives, it is a time to enjoy light, warmth and flip-flops. The SewBatik challenge theme for 2013 is Summer Solstice. You are invited to make a wall quilt showing what the longest day of the year means to you. Sewbatik is providing two fat eighths of batik fabric and will judge the quilts. The winner will receive a basket full of beautiful SewBatik fabrics, a value of at least $100. To obtain fabric, guidelines and registration form, mail the $5 entry fee to VQF/SewBatik Challenge, Mary Ellen Francis, 1651 Quaker Village Rd, Weybridge, VT 05753.
