Counting the days now until the Festival opens on Thursday evening, June 27, for the exciting Awards Ceremony and the always-festive Champagne and Chocolate Preview. What a great evening to be among the first to see the prize-winning quilts and all the special exhibit quilts, too, while sipping champagne or ginger ale. And then the fabulous shopping and being the first to shop all the latest offerings from our wonderful vendors. When the doors open at the beginning of the three-day weekend, it is always a thrill to see the eager visitors enter the lobby to start their venture into the wonderful world of quilting, color and design.
