Sewing Machine Rentals
For those who want to take a machine sewing class, but don't want the hassle
of transporting a machine to St. Michael's, we have good news! Husqvarna-Viking dealer, House of Sewing in Essex Junction, and Pfaff dealer,
Sew Many Treasures in Williston, will be offering sewing machines for rent. Rental
fees for 2008 are: $15.00 per day or $40.00
for the four days of classes. Should
students require special feet (walking
foot, quarter-inch foot, free motion foot, etc.), there
will be an extra charge of $10.00 per
foot.
Reservations
MUST be made in advance, no later than
June 16th. All rentals MUST be paid for at
the time of the reservation. Students will
NOT be able to make arrangements at the
show. The only machines that will be
available are those that have been
preordered. Rented machines will be
delivered to the Teacher Services Office
in St. Edmund's Hall, St. Michael's
College. It is the responsibility of each
student to retrieve his/her machine and
return it to the office at
the end of the class day. Regrettably
we can't offer any
assistance in
transporting machines to classrooms, so
bringing a luggage carrier or small
trolley is a good idea.
